LED lighting for urban

So, as I'm sure everyone knows, a generator that is both quiet enough for urban use and reliable enough to start in the cold is NOT cheap. Has anyone ever tried using LED lighting before?

These lights are battery powered, and can also be charged by a vehicle at the spot if you need to. Three hours of battery power is not a lot persay, but it would do the trick, especially if you can charge them on the fly.

If you buy 3 or 4 of these lights, that's a lot cheaper than a generator, and its completely silent. You also don't have to mess with gas or oil or any motor related hassles.

How come I've never heard of anyone using these for urban before?

probably because for a decent urban shoot you need more than 3 hours with build time to get it don't properly

DUDE! buy them! LEDs have a real nice "white" light. which might look better on camera.

If they last a couple of hrs the will be awesome! thanks for this k+
