LeBron officially goes to...

this was the dumbest decision he could have made, now he is just gonna be second to wade in Miami and he just single handidly made it so the nba will be no fun anymore, one superstar a team that should be how it goes, he should have to overcome adversity to win, not just go make a mini all star team so he can walk into the finals. he may win some, but it will never be truly sweet for him, but if he says he is truly happy then so be it, but its fitting the he changed his number because he will never be what Jordan was, never, Jordan fought as hard as he could and played his best everyday to assure that he took home the big trophy, lebron quit and just joined two players who can get it for him when he cant do the job he needs to do to win, its fitting that he is no longer a leader, he doesn't deserve that title, he can win as many rings as he wants, hell i dont give a shit if he passes the great bill russell, because he will never ever earn the respect of fans of basketball. im a celtics fan and i have just as much respect for magic as i do for bird, because they had to beat each other to be great, lebron joined his best competitors, gotta lot of quit in him

so lebron win all you want, but know your legacy is now diminished and when people look back they will see you as a coward who couldn't lead his team, but could be easily led by someone else who won it for you, if your name stays in the group of the greatest players to play the game i will be disappointed, because it dosent belong there. Anywhere but miami, i think that would have been the right choice

look who magic played with. he never won without his little all star team. Bird didnt play with scrubs either. Cleveland's GM should have been canned years ago, overpaying for crappy players too many times put them in a position where it was to hard to get any people who could actually play besides lebron

Being from Ohio (not Cleveland) I wanted LeBron to stay at the cavs for obvious reasons. However, end of the day I am not a Cleveland fan, but a LBJ fan. His decision was made in his best interest, and really anyone who thinks he should of made the sacrifice and stay in Cleveland when his goals could be better catered at another team are being completely selfish.
I mean he honestly gave it his best for 7 years, and the reason why he didn't win a championship at Cleveland was because of management. I seriously don't understand how they couldn't build a stronger team around LeBron over the course of 7 years, the team had no one but LBJ. So yea ill be buying a heat jersey soon, and to the haters give the guy a break, your hating on the wrong person.

We'd be bummed, but it sure as hell wouldn't be as big of a deal as Cleveland is making it. Of course, its not the same situation, as Ovechkin is a superstar but not a 'hometown' guy.

Its just annoying to see that these Cleveland folk think that Lebron was their shot at being a cool city. It is absolutely fair to be pissed that he left in a d-bag manner, but no matter what he did, it would always be a shitty city. Maybe Lebron left because he realized that Cleveland will always suck.

I should probably shut up now, as I am going to school in Ohio next year...

nah man im totally fine with sports. they offer a great distraction to how shitty the world is. what disgusts me is how high a pedestal some people put these individuals on.

it was absolutely incredible to see an entire region of PA to come together to have something in common when the phillies won the world series. but i see a difference between that and worshiping regular human beings.

tru, i see what you're sayin i guess

but the reason why this was such a big deal is that this guy is such a great athlete that his decision actually has a pretty big impact on the whole league

ha i wish i were a vikings fan. u guys have been to four super bowls, granted u never won any but at least uve been there. not to mention the vikings won more games last year than the browns have in the last 2 seasons combined. add that to the recent successes of the twins and i dont feel too bad for minnesota

Kobe is definitely has good players surrounding him, but Kobe is still the center piece. With out Kobe on the Lakers that team would not win. Shaq said the championships were because of him...well Kobe has proved that theory wrong. Yes, the lakers are just loaded with money, yes they have arguably the greatest coach to coach any sport, but Kobe still plays with a different style than LeBron.

I'm not a huge basketball fan by any means...but I do follow Kobe, ever since he was drafted by the hornetts and traded to the lakers (haha idiots).

My biggest question is though, who gave LeBron the title "King James"? To me thats the biggest joke ever.

makes sense...which of you dumbasses would rather live in ohio than party your face off in south beach miami, where its warm all day everyday and there are thousands of fine puerto rican women, and you can play ball with dwade & co.
tough choice

After reading that letter written by clevelands majority owner: I predict that Cleveland will have THE WORST season they have ever had, because their owner is an immature twat.

haaaaaahAHAHAHAHa

and yah, not only will Miami be good, they will be great. The team already has alot of talent, but they need more guys like wade who can build leads and get the ball rollin', to build confidence. cant wait to see Miami play. wow
