LeBron officially goes to...

lol theyre burning lebron jerseys in cleveland. what a waste of a fuckin jersey, and have some fuckin respect for this guy who fuckin did work for you guys all these years

I live in Cleveland. You clearly dont live here and don't understand this. Although I understand and respect his decision, it single handedly destroyed this city. Shut the fuck up please.

And to Fruitboot.

"People from NY must be pissed?"

NY never stood a chance. Sorry. Cleveland is pissed. I wouldn't be surprised his house gets burned. I live 15 minutes from it

Yea that's bullshit. Oh well, Cleveland goes back to being nothing

All aboard the Heat hype train!

WOOT WOOT (Idk what noise a train makes)

lol wow eh, take it easy buddy, you dont have to go tellin everyone to shut the fuck up and whatnot, thats uncalled for. im not saying you guys shouldnt be pissed off, of course i'd be pissed off too, but the whole burning jerseys shit and whatnot, i dont know, to me thats just crossing the line. this guy fuckin played like a champ for your city and this is how ppl show their appreciation?

I'm just saying you have NO idea how Cleveland suffers from sports. Every team, every sport you root for, either fails miserably (Browns, indians) or comes damn close then has some collapse when it really matters (Cavs). Getting all pumped year in year out then getting your heart broken takes its toll. With LeBron, we all thought that changed.

You know how everyone calls Cleveland a shithole? I guarantee if we won a championship or two people definitely wouldn't be calling it that. But since it hasn't won, people go ahead and give Cleveland tons of shit.

i understand that, i really have no problem with that, but im just sayin, burning jerseys? come on. but whatever, i guess you're right, i cant really say anything cus im not going through that shit.

You see, its just like this in DC. We have really shitty franchises (Redskins, Wizards) and teams that show all sorts of promise and then fail (Caps). But we don't become drama queens with a hope that it will get our city more credibility.

lol ever heard of a place called seattle? i dont give a shit about sports, but with the mariners every time we have a halfway decent year we either sell or trade a player and go right back to being terrible the next. i just dont understand why people get so caught up in sports..... its supposed to be fun

You sure about that...?
flash_video_placeholder.png

fuck NY. i could care less about their sports troubles. so they didnt get lebron? at least theyve still won a million titles in every sport. what lebron did to cleveland is unforgivable

Apple just came out with a new Lebron James Iphone. It can only be set to vibrate though because it comes with out a ring. Hur Hur

appreciation for what? never winning us a championship but always saying he wanted to get one for us? then leaving for the fucking heat? the cavaliers have NEVER won an NBA title, the browns have never even been to the superbowl, and the indians last won the world series in 1948. then, after all our suffering, we get a hometown guy who gives us hope and pretends to care about us then leaves. he can fuck off and i do hope terrible things happen to him

Nah I'm pretty sure it's only news to people who are deeply unhappy with their drone-like existence and need something to appear to really care about.

alright man, this is where im coming from though. this guy is an athlete, this is what he does. now obviously an athletes goal is to win a championship. he tried in cleveland, he poured his heart out on that court and didnt get the results he wanted. based on his time spent playing for the cavs, he came to the conclusion that he wouldn't be able to win a championship any time soon if he stayed with cleveland, so he went to a place where his odds of winning a championship would improve significantly. i understand why you guys are rattled though dont get me wrong, but its one thing to be rattled and then another to start wishing for bad things to happen to him and shit.

lol sports have been part of human culture for a long time you better get used to it and who cares if you think its interesting or not its what going on the world and as you grow up you gotta start payin attention and know what is going on with the world so when people start talking about things like this you can have something intelligent to say

is it so wrong to have fun every once in a while? in a world thats so fucked up; people killing each other, some next disasters going on everywhere, whats the problem with being able to get away from all that for a bit and just have a good time while playing/watching sports man?

And you think ppl are fucked for caring so much about this, i wonder if you might've been going nuts like the rest of us on here during the whole JOSS fiasco... same situation really

chris bosh said it best without actually saying it, Cleveland blows. He wanted to follow LeBron James anywhere except cleveland

except he didnt give it his all. the guys only 25 and ur talking like he had to get out now or he never would. and if u actually watched the last 2 games of the cleveland/boston series, u would know he did NOT give his best effort

Sorry in advance if this is a repost in one thread or another:

Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE"

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch.

Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....

I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:

DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....

Dan Gilbert

Majority Owner

Cleveland Cavaliers

im not saying he had to get out now, im saying why not get out now? hes been playing like a champ over there for what like 7 years, and nothing happened, and nothing would have happened any time soon even if he stayed. but whatever, this debate can go on forever, we'll just have to agree to disagree i guess

all the cavs fans should be pissed at the ownership, not lebron. They put shitty players around him for 7 years and expected him to win. Mo williams is terrible and jamison is even worse, I don't blame lebron for leaving when he's played with scrubs for 7 years.

its not like ownership didnt try. its hard to convince players to come to cleveland. the cavs tried so hard to get bosh but he wouldnt budge

thats fucking horseshit. those bastards should be kissing his feet for doing them the deed of pouring his heart out on the court in that town. he did what was in HIS best interest, not yours, which is what truely matters. Its not your life to live, its james', so piss off
