personally im not a fan of anything dark, its to depressing. Thats just how i perceive things, dont take it personally at all. Also im not big into photography.

However i love the hierarchy of the drops..

and if your not already in the photo critique cult, you should join, its dedicated to stuff just like this.

Whenever I shoot B/W, I try to get alot of dark and light. If you have to much light, it's not going to catch your attraction.
