which would keep my hands warmer...i heard that when leather get wet your hands just get miserably cold....but i also heard that leather is warmer than gore tex so idk...wut do you guys think?

I've got some hestra anthony boronowskis are they are so sick. leather but with a layer of waterproofing in them too. I've only used them for a day, but they kept my hands so warm a dry. quite pricey but worth it if you can get a good deal on em.

Gore-tex are probably warmer and definately drier, but I prefer leather for the dexterity. Also, I live in Australia where the snow's really fucking wet and I don't have too much of a problem with my leather gloves getting wet (unless you're packing snowballs or something), so I think they'd be fine for someone in North America

Gore-Tex is just a waterproof breathable insert in gloves...I rock Dakine Cobra gloves...mostly leather and gore-tex. Love them, thats all I use. Every now and again I rub Nik-Wax on the leather to protect it and keep it supple. Keep my hands warm and 100% dry.

ya Gore-Tex isnt accually the outside of the glove, it just allows sweat to move away from your hand but not let water in. Lots of leather gloves use it too.

yep. sometimes leather gloves will look really wet but your hands will be dry because there is a water proof layer under the leather.

I finally got some leather Level gloves this year and man they are so much better than the Dakine non-leather ones. Leather=the best.
