idk but for some reason I absolutely hate the word 'pow'.

I'm a pretty big fan of the term 'claim' which I never really heard before joining this site, I say it a lot now.

"legit" is definately not legit. and, i dont know if its really slang, but i kind of hate when someone calls skis "sticks" as in, "dude, check out these sick new sticks i just picked up."

yeah definetly agree with you there, only fags (snowboarders) "shred" or "rip" down trails. aka they sideslip down and take all the snow off

Rip is a little weak... shred has all sorts of old school credibility though, I love that word haha. As in "Yo man you wanna shred some gnar?"

Afterbang. It's called rideway. But we always copy snowboarders so looks like everyone calls it afterbang.

steeze is a fucking lame word.

i like it when snowboarders refer to people as shreds though. shreds and girl-shreds. thats fun

uhhh well no...

if its switch unnatural the real name for it is cab...

and im not really a fan of steeze anymore but im not gonna change my name...

STEEZE is soooo played.

How can u hate the word pow? Pow is just powder without the der and powder is the best thing ever. if u hate "pow" u must never ski it.

i hate the fact that every skier being interviewed has only one answer for whatever question they are being asked. that is "I'm super stoked for being here in _______." and then they give some generic reason to back it up.

fakie, cab, and i wish we had come up with a better term than pretzel before it stuck. i dont know what i would have called it though

if you usually ski foreward wouldnt skiing backward make that switch? like if a snowboarded ha their left foot first they put theyre right first and"switch" then they are riding switch. same with skiers.

I hate shred and rip. I don't have a problem with gnar or gnarly, but I'd never say either out loud. Pow is fine, but "pow pow" sounds so weird. it's like "pee pee."

i dunno.

steze has lost its meaning, it used to mean like making something look easy now.. due to overuse its become another word for any style- therefore i agree with you
