I hate people who put their kids on leashes on the hill, it looks so damn stupid and they get in the way. I just thought i would say that one, cause it pisses me off

w/e man. there just learning you probably had one at one point too and if they get in the way of you get off the fucking bunny hills you hack

i learned on a leash. started skiing when I started walking. I only ski 10 times a year though cause of where i live. So im not as good as I should be considering when I started. The 10 days i ski a year are the best 10 days of my year. I countdown the days the day after my last day skiing.

didnt use a leash, its ok if you are like 3 and its on the bunny hills, but ive seen parents use leashes so that they can bring their kids on the other runs, it wouldnt be a problem at big mountains, but i usually at places in michigan where there are 35 runs tops, and i have onestly seen leashes in terrain parks, and they go around all of the jumps

If kids on leashes are really bothering you that much on the hill maybe you should step up your skiing a bit. Try a blue run or something.

when i teach the little ones, ( my job all winter long) i am a fan of the pizza, french fry steeze. no need for leases or edgi wedgies.

ok andrew, cute, im a newb, who has 2 posts here?

plus this thread was dead, way to bring it back up

don't complain about the toddlers whose parents have them on the leashes. That makes you like that old person who is in the pool but doesn't want to get splashed... just man up!

im not mad at the toddlers, im mad at their parents for taking them on leashes, getting in the way in the lift lines, and taking them off of the bunny hill. ive seen leashes in the terrain park before. plus, when you are skiing on a 30 run mountain, you pretty much ski all of the runs. why not just teach them by holding on to them or something, i learned by skiing between my parents legs. bottom line leashes are retarted and one more time

the girl looks like she is crying

actually leashes are very helpful in introducing kids to our sport...BUT only kids that are so small that their muscular development has yet to reach a point where they can actually stop on their own.

My son will be on snow as soon as he can walk in ski boots, and I plan on using a harness/leash his first year (age 2.5) and without it he would have to wait another year or so. He will be on my back in his hiking pack this spring to get a little taste of it.

Why would anyone diss on little groms learning to ski, I cannot wait to have my son slaying the slopes with me. He will learn that there is no "right way" to ski, fowards/switch, poles, no poles whatever.

Fuck, I hope he kicks my ass at skiing by the time he is 10. He should, he will be in good company at Squaw's mighty mites program...Gaffney and McConkey also had kids this year as well. Gonna be some crazyness seven years from now, watch out!

Fuckin' OWNED! Nice one man. And seriously, just ski around them, they are trying to get their kids involved in skiing, lay off.
