Learning unnatural tricks

Bring two sets of goggles to the mountain. One your standard tinted or clear goggles the other, a nice pair of mirrored lenses. When you where the mirrored goggles, it blocks more of the sunlight by swapping the light that enters through the goggles by 180 degrees. Most UV rays can only be bent 145 degrees before they'll disappear. The cool thing about this, is that an unintended side effect of bending the UV rays 180, is that all light is bent 180 when entering the goggles.

Because our vision is based off of light reflecting off things and being transmitted to our eyes, when using mirrored goggles, everything you see is actually backwards. Now you might think I'm totally full of shit, and I know it sounds ridiculous but try it. Write a message on a piece of paper and hold it in front of the mirror in your bathroom. It will be backwards. Now put on a pair of mirrored goggles and try the same thing. You'll be able to read it now.

This in itself does not necessarily mean you can do tricks to the other side. You need to need to swap between goggles regularly. I recommend 2 runs then switch, 2 runs then switch. Others I've heard seem to agree on an every other run swap. Note, this also varies depending on the length of your park, the altitude, and the sun that particular day.

So now you're swapping goggles regularly. You will start to notice that you're doing more tricks both ways. Actually you might not even notice. I had no idea I had learned unnatural 9's until I saw the video playback in the lodge. It felt so natural at the time it just seemed like I was spinning to my regular side. This is when I started to notice the connection between goggles and spin direction.

It may not work for everyone but I feel it's worth a shot. It worked for me and quite a few other people. Give it a shot and see what happens.

or just drop some acid, similar effect but lasts all day

Repetition. You're gonna fall but learn from it and try again. Honestly there's not much to say about unnat tricks. Just think of what you would normally do and replicate it in the other direction. If you're spinning then remember not to throw your head down.

Also for me I actually stay balanced better when throwing unnatural tricks, I just throw them a lot slower. This might not be the case for everyone though.

Keep your chest tall and don't collapse into it like you are scared. Set chest high and arms up and follow your leading arm around, drive your arms forward on the landing and you should be golden.
