Learning tailgrabs..

Ok, Ive been working on other tricks but tail grabs are kinda sick to me. When should I reach back to grab the tail. In alot of videos I dont even see riders looks back, its like they already know were to position their hand. Any suggestions?

yea u will eventually no where to put ur hand. i have to look back for blunts but i figure i will eventually get it

just reach back a little bit behind your binding and then gradually start moving your hand farther back on the ski as you start to know where it is more

Yeah, just reach back and grab. You'll probably miss a few times when your starting, but you should eventually get it.

 
When you are in the air, first just look back to see where it is. Then next time look back and grab it. The third time you should be able to get it without looking. Once in a while you will miss or get it with your pole or wrist, no biggie. Practice makes perfect.

yeah look straight ahead it took me a while to learn them because i couldnt find my tails i would keep my skis back for too long and face plant but you'll get it, just keep practicing and defineatly, dont look back
