yeah, tucker nailed kapanen against the boards. I remember a VERY similar incident in which tucker was hit by Varada, and i dont think leaf fans ever stopped complaining.

Its a good life if you dont weaken.

I was thinking today, and you can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the only teams the leafs have beat in the playoffs in the last five years are the Sens and the woeful Islanders. The Leafs are such an overrated hockey club. I don't know why the Sens can't beat them. Belfore did exactly what Cujo did. He stood on his head against the Sens and couldn't keep it up the next round. Frustrating.

Toronto is, but that's just because people from Toronto think they're the Aryan race of Canada. Noone outside of T-O is buying any of it. And the finals are already starting: Philly vs. Tbay, whoever wins gets the cup. Just like the Det/Col series when Carolina won the east... and who'd those Canes beat again? Can anybody remind me?

Toronto has the biggest fan base, period. Go to san jose, and there is some drunken leafs fan cheerin for a team that isnt even playing.

^I was being sarcastic, pointing out how lanks was right... the leafs have only beaten the sens and isles. The sens are just cursed, though. Almost as bad as the oilers getting violated by Dallas every time.

alright, leafs are not an over rated team at all. We should have had that last game. We outplayed philly in almost every aspect of that game. In the end, it is the number of goals on the scoreboard that count. I don't think our team is lacking much in leadership. We do have 8 former captains, and a pretty fucking good lineup.

The only tools that we had in our lineup were antropov, mccabe (he was just off), kidd, berg (as always), and kaberle. The rest of our team is quite solid.

Jay, I do have to admit, the sens should have beaten the leafs. But like I said before, it is the number of goals that are on the scoreboard, and laliame is a choker :)

McCabe and Kaberle!! Are you kidding me? Kaberle didn't have a great season or playoffs, but he is still one of best and youngest d-men in the league. So McCabe didn't play well the last two playoff games, is that what you're basing it on (because he was second on the leafs for points in the playoffs, and leads all defenseman in points in the P/O as well I'm pretty sure) ... if so, then are Amonte and LeClair terrible players too?

Yes Pilar did score that goal, but he's still a dink. Berg is terrible. Reichel is the most overpaid player in all of sport. Tom Fitzgerald is a wash-up.

It turns out that most of the Leaf players are/were injured. This may be the result of an old team, or just misfortune... either way it wasn't meant to be.

It's kind of fun being apart of the most hated fan base in hockey.
