Does anyone live there? Thinking about working at copper and living in leadville. It is so much cheaper than summit, and thats important to me. If anyone knows much about living down there I would love some advice.

Fun place to live, I spent a few years there. I hope you like a shit ton of snow in your yard all the time. Housing is very affordable, I rented from Centennial real estate. They are pretty easy going and have a lot of places usually. Heres the phone number (719) 486-1409. Good luck mang

I was wondering how well they kept up that road between leadville and copper? Just wondering what I should expect for winter transportation

It can get really bad at times, but if you have a poor winter vehicle they have a summit stage bus that runs in the morning and evening between copper and leadville.
