Leadville timberline college

this fall im majoring in ski area operations at leadville....anyone go/are going to go to the college? nearby resorts good? is the town okay?
 
haha that is a crap town...you can ski at ski cooper, although its pretty flat...yea thats not even a slope...just dont go there
 
Leadville sucks so bad. The only upside to it may be that you are close to Summit and Eagle Counties, which aren't even that cool anyway.
 
Well, the views in Leadville are the only good thing that comes to mind...

Are you going to enroll in a school most of the way across the country and not come check it out? ...cause that wouldn't be the best idea.
 
leadville is a shithole....CMC in leadville is also a shithole....there are good prfessors there though....go to steamboat, way better, i a am CMC Summit Campus alumni, and I have been to both campuses
 
yea...sinec you live next to a resort that only averages 175 inches a year...that means tons of powder days!
 
wow...bad idea my friend. Ive taken craps that look better than that town. Lets see there is a nasty chinese food place, and a drug store. Sounds like a fun place to live. And ski cooper is such a piece of crap area. Like the other guy said, way flat. You cant get going more than 5 MPH there. HAVE FUN!!!!!!
