no. lead grabbing means spinning left and grabbing with your left hand or vice versa.

really, leading grabs always seemed easier, I'm pretty sure when i did mutes back in the day i learned them reverse

when you spin left you should grab your right tail........but i find it easier to grab left tail with left spin....
