Leading grab?

ok, so in one of the ski mags i got recently, the trip tip explained a leading tail 360 (spin left, grab left) but i was wondering what would the leading grab be for a mute, like spin left and grab with your right, or spin left and grab with your left.....?

anyone got an idea?

spin left and grab with your left hand. i thought that leading tail was spin left and grab right tail :|

well, according to pete O, leading tail while spinning left is grabbing left hand on left ski, but by doing that with a mute, wouldnt it kind of kill the momentum of the rotation?

"leading" is always following the spinning direction.

spin left, grab right ski w/ right hand is leading tail because you could pull the ski and lead the spin that way.

mute its spin left and grab the right ski with the left hand cuz if you tweak it you fasten up your spin.

for most grabs it doesnt matter too much in my opinion (but there is a leading possibility of course). like crutons, japans and safeties.

i personally think that opposite mutes are harder and look better on slower spins. but leading grabs always fasten up the spins and help to let fast spins look better, but that could be just me.

no, it's when you open your shoulders to the spin. On a left side spin grabbing tail with left or mute with right will open you to the left

but in some old skiingmotion.com vid, jf cusson was doign a left 3 while grabbing tail left. and it said "reverse tail 360" which is what i think the opposite of leading, right.

for me its just what is tweaked in the spin direction and what not, i mean the word is leading, that says it all
