what are the difference between lead and regular grabs, such as mute vs lead mute?

lead is grabbing with your right hand if you are spinning right, or left hand if you are spinning left. So it is like you are grabbing in the same way as your rotation. Trailing (normal) is the opposite, is more common and helps you spin faster, whereas grabbing lead is generally harder, and might slow your rotation. Lead grabs are more commonly done in unnatural tricks.
