LCD problem?

Alright so heres the issue. I just bought a new Samsung LCD monitor to go with my desktop a couple weeks back. Lately though, there has been a vertical light blue line that goes down from the top of my screen to the bottom, just left of center. It comes and go, but I really have no idea what it is....any help of idea to what is is would be much appreciated..

yeah I was thinking dead pixels, but then it just comes and goes....and in no particular situation..just at random really

yeah i am sure I can, but if there is a simple solution to it, I would rather figure it out myself instead of shipping it out and doing my papers and essays on my laptop

Is it totally random or is when you are running a certain program?

totally random....sometimes it stays for a long time..sometimes its only there for a few seconds...

Then I would return it, or call whoever you bought it from to see if they know, sounds like a glitchy screen to me.
