Lax players of ns

i played lax in high school. all-state too baby ayyyyyy but i haven't picked up my stick in like 9 months skiing is way sicker
 
my little brother plays lax pretty intensely, like provincial team and university scouting tournies.

he's on NS somewhere im pretty sure.
 
I don't even mind lacrosse two of my roommates play but just cause you have to be one of those faggots who says #fuckbaseball I'm gonna shit on it. This is literally why no one likes lacrosse. Because the majority of you douches think its better than any other sport which is clearly some insecurity thing because deep down you know your sport is pussy as shit. Or you're probably just butt hurt cause you suck at baseball, which is kind of a smart person sport, and a difficult one to get good at. Lax is homo. Period. Its hockey without skates and less hitting. I'd rather watch field hockey, and thats not even a sport.. Any fat ass and there grandma could play lax. But go ahead keep playing a sport where professionals still have to work second even third jobs. As long as you don't stop skiing its all good. Sorry for the rant. broken collar bone. out for the season. these painkillers got me salty.
 
I played baseball, and we didnt win a game my senior year.

Id rather play football than any other sport though.

Dam dude respect. Never was that good but our team was ranked top 15 i the country back in the day. I love skiing to death but nothing like ripping twine with your teamates after school. So fun. Different type of sport. As much as I love skiing, I was in primetime shape when I played lax. Can't beat team sport workouts.
 
I played in highschool in northern california and from my biased perspective we were not your typical lax bros.

I quit my club team last semester. The kids on my team were your typical douchebag bros who snort prework out and smash beer cans over their heads. The majority were in fraternities.. basically fucking hate that meat head shit

And to the people bashing the sport, don't make a judgement until you have played it yourself.
 
I played high school lax in Connecticut and then played club in college because I was already playing football and golf for the school. Definitely going to try to play in a summer league now that I have graduated.

I mean i don't hate baseball, but for a sport you don't do much. Theres little running, its slow, you only play a little each game. Lax is fun cuz its fast and you are always playing

Is playing goalie fun?

I mean, I loved it, but fun? Painful, excruciating, frustrating, challenging, intimidating, but not really fun IMO.

That's coming from a bitter ex-keeper though.

I have so many stupid lacrosse stories that just take me back to high school.

Once took a shot to the face that collapsed my whole facemask so that the ball hit me in the nose

My elbows are still screwed up from cross checks with no arm pads and errant shots

Takin a really hard shot to the cup from point blank in front of every girl in your school, twice in one game, trying not to puke from the pain and acting like everything was fine the first time, the next one I fell down and clutched myself while grunting at a really high pitch before I pulled it together.

One of my knees is bigger than the other and still has a dent from a shot, at least it's not purple anymore

man, the nostalgia, still glad I didn't play in college, managed to avoid the fratty bro culture in highshcool but don't know if I could have done it in college.
 
I play d3 college lacrosse at Hamilton College. Lacrosse is one of the most physical games out there. I get so confused when people say it's a pussy sport. Also lacrosse definitely requires a lot of thinking and reading plays (it's really similar to basketball) so I don't know where that argument comes from.

Also the generalization of "lax bros" is absurd. My team has so much diversity in personalities and the types of kids on the team. I would say most people that give off the "lax bro" vibe are probably posers.

All in all, lacrosse is a great sport. Lax hate is usually irrational.

i play club at towson university in baltimore, md. gotta say a lot of the guys on my team are douchers but hey i enjoy it so i'll keep playing
 
Im the biggest lax bro there is, but in all honesty, lacrosse gets a really bad rap, worse than it deserves. Sure there's douches that play it, but there are douches in every sport, even in skiing sadly.

Casey rose is one of the best skiers I've ever skied with and he plays college lax at Rutgers.

I mean I love it and am glad that Im a goalie, but those instances do suck cuz its just that kind of position. However, I do enjoy playing goalie and think its fun because It really takes a lot of work and concentration. I guess Im just that kind of crazy

For me its lax in the summer and skiing in the winter. I find skiing way more fun though
