Lawncare question

For those of you who do lawncare, what do you charge for weeding? My neighbor wants me to clean their garden so they can mulch it.

your best bet is to call up your local landscapers, pretend you're considering hiring them, and ask them. then do it for a little bit less. thats what I used to do back when I did it

if it's just a garden then just do a set price.. if you did 10 bucks per hour then you'd be working your ass off for not a lot of money.. believe me, i do landscaping as my job and 90 minutes of straight weeding is fucking hell and you'd only make $15.. just agree on like $25 or something, i have no idea how big the garden is but im sure you can agree upon a price.

Its a dece sized area but idk, not too bad. Ill just agree on a price upfront

I mow 15 lawns and people always ask me to weed their gardens as well but i never do it i cannot stand weeding and you will make alot more money alot faster by just mowing

Yea, i mow about 8 lawns and i absolutely hate weeding, but im done with school, the house is right next door, and theyre rich. i need some dough

It also depends on how big it is and how much time it will take. If you think it's around an hour, and its really hard, I would ask for around 25, around half an hour 15-20. It all depends.

Mowing lawns, I had lawns that took 5 minutes that paid $15, I had lawns that took 20 minutes for $20. I had one that took 45(that was my record), but more like an hour for $30, and the best being my generous neighbor across the street giving me $60 to do the lawn that took 30-45 minutes.

Prices really differ. Just tell them a price, maybe a little bit higher, and say youre really not sure how much to charge. If they take the higher price, that's good, if they dont look good about it, drop it $5 to the price you had before and be like, I'll be nice and drop the price for you, and they will like it and give you business later.

ive been doin lawncare in the summer for 4 years. fuck weeding. charge em for just spraying it. we do right round double the mow rate when we spray
