So I recently have had to shoot more and more interview videos and I have not been too stoked on the outcome. I currently use either a Tascam DR-40 or Rode VideoMic, both of which I have gotten great audio from in the past. But I dont think there strength is interview stuff. With that being said I am looking to buy a lavilier mic.
I am not too technologically knowledgable in audio stuff so this is where I'm looking for help. I am not sure what features to look for in a lav mic but I think one thing to look for is XLR connectors so that I can record to my DR-40 through a balanced XLR port.
So basically I am just looking for advice on what lav mic to get so far through my own research I am looking towards this one:

although I am not sure it is the best option, I am looking for a real nice model because I already have two devices that can "do the job" but I am looking for something that will do much better than what I already have.
