I'm with Lateralis, i have no clue about up in comers or about the new threads coming out (i do follow new skis coming out though), and i could give a rats ass about who won what anymore and i love not knowing. went to WSI not as cool as i thought it would be, compeating is way way overrated, lets leave that one alone. and to who ever said without pros there would be no ski industry. your just plain stupid skis would sell to the general pop with out pros, they have for many years. do you think that the average skier know one, two or even 3 pro skiers of any kind names? most might say Warren Miller but thats it, and i bet they don't even know, or care, what kind of skis he rides or what coat he has for next year. newschool skiing is only a small fraction of ski companies over all sales . if this market died no one except newschool BASED companies would feel any major effects. The market changes all the time and trends come and go, if newschool ski comps where smart they would do what Line is doing and try to break in to different segments of the ski industry, a.k.a. non newschool, because they are the ones trying to insure the stablity of the company for the future. looking more twards the future of skiing instead of the future of newschool because it looks like newschool skiing is now just an image instead of a mindset of a free-willed out of the 'box' skier. you are all sheep do you not understand that? sorry to get off topic so much. haha
stop fallowing trends and do what you want
