Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

Does anyone else find this show utterly TERRIBLE?

Maybe I'm not being fair as I have never found Jimmy Fallon entertaining, but his late-night show is atrocious and completely lacking in comedic value.
 
i haven't seen it yet, but i don't think that i've ever liked anything else put out by jimmy fallon, so i'm guessing i'd hate it.
 
Conan is by far my favorite. I liked Fallon on SNL but I don't know if I see him as a behind-the-desk kind of guy. I watched one of his shows and it seemed alright... maybe it was just because I was stoked on the musical act but, yeah I'd have to see it again to judge it.

Could it possibly be worse than Carson Daly though? Please.
 
I do not like it at all, for one, he tries t hard to be like Conan with the jump at the beginning, or the beginning setup. And all he does when people are on the show is just laugh, and the laugh is so annoying. Nothing compares to Conan. Now i just watch Leno then i go to sleep, or change it to sportcenter and watch it over and over again. I cannot wait until he fills the 11:35 spot, shit.
 
my roommate always has this show on and i can't stand it. the songs made for audience members? they blow. that show brings everyone on it to a much lower level.
 
I think he's just not comfortable yet. You can tell he's nervous. Despite all the SNL, having your own talk show with tons of people watching just you has to be a bit nerve racking. Give him time to make himself at home.
 
you do realize how hard and intimidating it would be to take over Conan's old spot right? Conan is a GOD when it comes to late night. Im pretty sure he did not find his "mojo" for a while. I think Jimmy Fallon is a funny guy, he just has to get comfortable. Give it some time and it will be good. It has the potential. And the roots are just plain sick!
 
In regards to furthering their career. There should be a warning label when doing so. *warning* You may ruin your career and your namesake by continuing rather than leaving as is.
 
Haha I said that the first time I saw it. He's just not a funny person.

With that said I just wait till the end to turn it on because they have absolutely AMAZING music acts. I mean his house band is the Roots, come on.
 
I've seen it a couple of times. You know that feeling you get.. the kind of uncormortable and embarrassing feeling... yeah I get that watching his show. It seems like he tries way too hard. There are multiple times during his show where he says something he thinks is funny, he laughs at it, nobody in the audience laughs, then he tries to make a recovery joke about his failed joke, and it is worse than the originial and nobody laughs at that one. It just feels awkward to watch it.
