late night longboard missions

yeah so who here that longboards goes real late to hills? last week me and a bunch of other guys went to this 2.5 mile hill, for people who live in connecticut it's on route 44, coming down avon mountain. we left at around one. when we were driving up we drove by an entrance to the reservoir in town and there was a cop in there, but fuck it, one of the guys marshall does it anyway. i filmed his run and the driver of the car blocked him when we went by the cop, it was super slick. the next run 3 guys went down. this time the cop saw them and went after them. me and the guy driving in the car sped ahead and waited on a side road. my friends tim and marshall got stopped, and the third longboarder stopped before the cop when he pulled over marshall and tim and got picked up by another car, turned around and drove away. the cop was nice and just dropped the two guys off where we were, but i guess they could have gotten busted for pedestrian missuse of a highway or something. i want to do it so bad, i couldn't that time because i was using my camera.

sounds fun man, i have been skating for a couple of years on a regular skate, and then my buddy got a longboard. we took it over to a private club with some sick hills. it is sooo much fun. the only thing that sucks is when you get the speed wobbles you cant come back from them.

there was some dude doing it at scenic caves road for anyone who knows blue mountain area, the last drop off is steep, and this guy got going insanely fast, then the road ends, so he just ditched himself in the bush, but yeah, my mom saw him and have him a ride to the top.

late night rides are the best, i think longboarding is my favorite thing to do besides skiing. nothing beats the feeling carving down a huge hill when theres no cars and nothing to worry about

i love longboarding during the day time but ive never tried it at night? isnt it kinda sketchy because of the darkness? sounds mad fun tho

wear light colors i guess, and don't go down dark dark streets. the ones i do at night are usually wide and busy during the day, so they all have street lights. nothing's better than carving a four lane road i tell you.

longboarding is the illest when the road has just been paved and every inch of your wheels have contact with the pavement and you feel like your just stuck to the road and you can carve so sharply and such high speeds, god i love it its so awesome.

my friend tryed to make a longboard out of plywood and it sucked camel dick. he made it way too long and it snapped in the middle. whats your favorite ride? mines sector nine.

Dude if you're lookin to make a longboard you gotta use some denser wood. I made mine from an old water ski you just gotta cut the tip and part of the tail off so you're left with the flat part, its bad ass

 
yeah thats what i told him, plywood just aitn strong enough, its shitty pine glued together like shit. waterskis work huh? they arent wood but i guees they are stuff enough?

we were bored the other night when we were tanked, so we went loangboarding (ack, bad combo). well this kid chooses to ride this hill thats waaaay to steep to longboard, and he was on a fairly short board with really loose trucks. he got mad speed wobbles, and progressivly got worse for about 25 seconds. ive never laughed this hard my whole life, it looked like he was a pro moggal skier, bouncing from side to side. well eventually the board shot out completely sideways and he rolled for about 30 feet. longboards are too sick

I always end up longboarding after dark because its illegal on all the good hills here. There is hills the wind up and down this ravine for like a mile. So much fun.
