So a couple buddies of mine want to know where they can ski around late june to mid july...are there only camps or places still around ... thinking out west of course which is why i didn't put it in any specific regional, and the fact that people dont check there as often as here. Thank for helping out some of my buddies NS.

the beartooth highway, last i heard the lifts arent going to be running but should be sick any way. also hood, whistler, new zealand, europe, etc..

so basically unless i pay a shit load to get into a camp its not worth going out west...or have i come to the wrong conclusion?

Well, what are you looking for? There's definitely some sick mountaineering to be had in June if you know where you're going.

and when do the camps start like if my buddies were to go in late june would the camps have started yet

beartooth man.

This is the twin lakes headwall(where the lifts are, and they ARENT running this summer) on july 5th last year(and the snow year last year wasnt that good, and this year was, so it should be better).

Garner headwall is also good. Be prepared for some good hiking for both of those. I dont know if rock creek headwall will still have enough snow on it by then(in relation to the pictures above, rock creek had almost no snow on it when I took the pictures above). But you can do car laps with rock creek headwall, or at least hike back down to the road.

St. mary's glacier in colorado is always good and will have snow. I went there last year and had a good session with some nsers. We set up a rail and shit. Its pretty flat but is fun for summer.

If you want more info, shot me a message and/or search tgr for beartooth.

geez, i see why they didnt open last year for lack of snow. its such a bummer they're not opening this year because we have so much snow in mt

tucks is ok now (skied left gully yesterday) but is definitely getting raped by this warm weather. I went two years ago when we had a pretty shitty snow year on memorial day weekend and there was way more snow than there was this year right now... not lookin good. but in the meantime I'd recommend going now for sure it was super nice out and we skied some fun slush moguls. don't wait too long if I had to guess I'd say by the end of the month the trail down will be completely closed as with most of the terrain. that's just a guess though I don't know much about tuckermans, only been there twice.

A-Basin is still 100% open, they have a "two" parks open, its about a dozen rails and two jumps. It should be open for a month or so more and its really fun.

Basically Hood, unless you pay $800 bucks for Whistler pro camp and just ski COC's park, which for 5 days is pretty expensive but could be worth it. Hood is boring as hell, but Whistler is were its at in the summer.

hood always has a great public park, and with all the snow we still have you should be able to lap it on the lifts until early or mid july. you can camp for free in govy (10 min. away) so its just the cost of lift tickets and food. lift tickets are usually about $45

Sooo many places to go for sled accesed skiing in BC, the only thing is you gotta really know where you're going, or you'll end up lost in a maze of logging roads.

not really, hood usually only has like one or two jumps and a rail. i wouldnt suggest going there. never go to hood it sucks. just playing hoods real fun

its in glacier

i read an article in the great falls tribune that said no matter how soon they get the snow plowed the earliest it will open is june 13 because of construction.

this is me and ferrinski86 last july, the video isnt realy a great representation of what its like because alot of the good stuff was melted out.

In the middle of June I'm gonna drive to Italy with some friends, there's some unknown glacier right across the Swiss border which is open in June and July and has a sick park.. then we drive on to Venice, maybe go to the beach somewhere... before we head a few hours north to Austria where there are 3 glaciers open in June: Hintertux, Kitzsteinhorn and Dachstein. Espeically to Roxy Glacier Park is looking to be sick so I'm really excited. After that I'm gonna hit up Zermatt which should get it's park by the beginning of July.

Late June would be sick to do the Demonium camps at Les 2 Alpes (www.demonium-mc.com).
