Nay! I argued. The Shcrab bro did it first. Then Rick Roblowski or whatever his name is. True or False?

I dunno if the Schrabs double corked... they def. had the double flips first tho. Double misty's for sure. Rick Worbeleski (I'm murdering that spelling, sorry) had the risky flip (d-spin 7 to backflip), but I dunno if that would be considered a true double cork.

The first person who landed one on skis probably was Wilson. He's the first person I heard of do it anyways.

wilson did them before rory. but the wilson flipp (double underflip) is definitely the sickest double in my opinion. i think he's done double corks too.

wilson has done, double corks, misty to back, and risky flips. I've also seen him do flair to front flip on a quarter pipe.

Shrabs did double misty 1440 on the windlip in Whistler. Wilson did the first double corks. Rick Robowlski did a cork 7 to backy thing. Very similar to a double cork. I mean, it's a dumb argument. Most people would consider Rick's thing a dub cork.

Sorry As per usual you are all WRONG

the 1st double corks were done in 13 by former pro skier and Arealist Todd Loveless he did them of this massive bc step down.. sure they looked kinda like ful fulls but ttherey were double corks... go watch 13 too see that im right....

the 1st fakie double back Flip was done by Tuka Tehraho from Finland in 1999 at the Australia X-games. A little history lesson for you all...

I've seen that 1st double back, I think all of us have. That was sooo sick when it was done. The guy stomped the fuck out of it.

I was on the deck next to the jump at perisher when that happened i was like 13 or some shit and I almost shit my pants he was doing fakie back flip all day and then out of no where in the finals he hucked the double and went almost all the way to the bottem of the landing hes crazy I think hes still a pro skier in finland .. I smoked up with him in whistler a few years ago and he was still on salmon ripping shit up no idea what happened to him now...

Does any one remember todd loveless from 13???

in Push i know they show him doing one, it was sketch though in the backcountry and he fell...

but seriously, you all know I did the first dub cork

We were just shitfaced and talking skiing. It was a hypothetical. I felt like being the devils advocate, especially since I know how much everyone (myself included) hates the Schrabs. I think I'm always just up for a debate about anything when it comes to skiing.

wilson actually was going for a misty 10 when he did a double misty/cork, about 8 years ago now. He did it in Cali on fruit boots for a contest. It was way back in the day and it was not until he saw the video footage after that he figured out what the fuck it was that he threw.

That's the earliest I would say of a dub cork steeze without counting the numourous off axis spins and shit the arialists have been doing for years in the Olympics.

huh? he did a wilson over the pipe and overrotated but still landed, and he also tried one in the BC but ate shit

which one are you talking about?

I thought the pipe was a double cork? Wilson flips are double inversions, he didnt go completely inverted over the pipe...

Haha, in any case, Wilson does crazy shit. Nuff said.

Hmmm.... its definitely not a double cork, I'll concede that. I dunno if its a double underflip tho, and his sketch landing makes it even stranger. It looks more like a rodeo 7 to an off axis backflip... but that would still be pretty close to a double underflip I guess.

We should organize a TBC night on NS. Everyone starts the movie at 8:00 or something, start a thread for it... I'm a huge nerd.

the schrabs suck, i mean how many bail buckin fools actually ski, they know and we know they belong playin football period. Skill wise they were pretty good, but it is understated and overlooked how much the actual ski to snow ability most professionals have, hence people thinkin the schrabs are "good". I'm gonna take this opportunity to voice my opinion, if you cant ski then why not take your time to learn instead of skipping steps and goin straight to jumping
