so im deffinitly getting either the kaos or the pro model but i just have one more question. on the site it mentions you can reduce the flex of the boots by unscrewing the rivets. Does this really make a difference on the pro model or kaos and has anyone tried it? also, im a aggressive skier and im 6ft and 140 lbs, is the 110 flex on the pro model too stiff for me? thanks so much and i promise i wont make anymore threads!

I have the kaos. I havent noticed a spot where you can unscrew it to reduce the flex. I know they have that on the rampages though. I dont think itll be to flexy on the kaos but i dont know about the pros. Sorry thats all i can say

ya i have the kaos and havent seen any thing to adjust the flex... might be something in the pro though???

I don't own that specific boot. But on most boots when you remove a flex screw it reduces the flex about 10 or so...

thanks guys! yea on the salomon site it says you can remove the rivets on the side of the boot to lessen the flex. it says you can do that for both the pro model and the kaos. and is 110 flex too much for someone who weighs 140 and is a aggressive skier?

It isnt that simple to just remove them. you have to drill them out, and then you cant put them back in.

Could be.

If Salomon haven't changed how they report their flex indices and the 110 flex is anything like the old xwave 10 flex (110) then they are mighty stiff.
