Lassonde Housing Univeristy of Utah

Going to be a freshman and the U next fall and not quite sure where to apply for housing. I’ve looked at plenty of past threads and Sage Point seems to be the place to go between the regular housing options. Now they have the Lassonde center and there aren’t any posts on that specifically. Can anyone who has lived there, previously lived there, or heard about it give me some advice? I visited the center last spring and it looked pretty amazing but I’m not sure about the vibe/social aspect of the people who live there. I’m looking for housing that’s social and wants to have a good time. I’m also into possible entrepreneurship opportunities so living in the Lassonde center might be an advantage. Any advice or comments are appreciated, thank you.

im also coming as a freshman... most of what I've seen says chapel glen is the place to be as a first year if you wanna have a good time

Can confirm. Chapel Glen isn't the nicest by any means but it definitely has a more relaxed, open vibe than any of the other dorms

Im only basing this off what my friends say, but apparently Lassonde is on lower campus and all the freshmen hang on upper? idk for sure but thats what ive heard

Shit I meant to say chapel Glenn but for some reason I typed Sage Point. If I don’t go to Lassonde I’ll house there. Thanks guys

Was about to make this same thread and toured around Lassonde today and thought it looked really awesome, but want drinking and skiing friends so I guess Chapel Glenn is the place to be based on this thread
