I'm not boys with him and though I found his injury saddening, it was no different than hundreds of other injuries that happen all season long at ski resorts all over the world.

Why should I quit skiing because some guy I don't even know wasn't at the front of my mind all season long?

no one has forgotten about lars - but realize that 3-4 people have DIED off the same jump or a similar jump at mammpth this year. going off huge jumps is one of the risks in this sport and people need to realize that they are not invinclible and that you could die/break your back any day of the year

One of the people who died was a snowboarder who overshot, caught his frontside edge which caused him to impact onto his face.

I know there have been at least two others who died on that same jump as well this year.

All things considered Lars is lucky. He is alive and from the sounds of things will walk again.

i saw a guy on big foot snowlerblades with a giant helmet catch his tips on the knuckle after air-bicycling a whole bunch and face whip into the landing of the mammoth money booter last year. it was ridiculous... somehow the guy walked away thoguh. it was like the most brutal thing ive ever seen.

It is true that the sport has some risks, but if u are responsible, know what u limits are and going step by step and u cant say u ahve to be lucky cause luck dont exist.. all depends on u
