the animations, grabs and grinds all look fucking sweet

the zeros are tight...

but it is ssx...

the guy takes off his skis alot, and the guy playing it loves flips...but the spins and grabs have some nice steeze

looks really fun to play, because it looks smooth and newschoolish, but not so fun to actually beat the game because of all the gay taking skis off shit, which youd have to do

It's going to be awesome, EA Sports Big thanks a lot for an SSX with skiiers in it, otherwise I would of been playing it with the snowboarders.

it is looking pretty damn good, very intense compared to SSX 1 and Tricky.

The amount air control makes it look too easy though.

 
Are you guys watching the "OTS Demo" video on there or what? I'm seeing some decent looking switch spins with realistic grabs. Yes it is arcade style, yes the air and speed is unrealistic, but it is a step above JMMT. It's hard for them to start skiing games off Big. They still don't know what the market is until this one is out.

Here is the trick guys: If we have any hope of a better game in the near future, we have to work on getting better demographical stats. -- That is to say that right now, no one will invest in making a ski game, b/c the demographics state that we [skiers] do not "buy" video games. If we want to change their minds, we will have to all go out and but this game, and hope that it works -- so that we can have a legitimate game some time in the future.

yo fuck SSX4, the whole concept behind that game is worthless no matter what your preference is, ski or snowboard, any game that takes it beyond progressing tricks with style and innovation and does gay shit like taking off your board and skis in mid-air just straight up pisses me off. I won't be sold on a game marketed towards little children and retards, even if it has a hint of skiing in it.

yo when u think about it. say in real life that would be pretty sick if someone took off there skis and did cool things while spining in real life that would be the best thing ever. u people need to know about how this game might make some pros think about soing some of those trix or making a binding wiht a "eject" button to do thos things. it would be the new coolest thing because a pro did it.

My buddy works at EA he's a cheif game tester, I keep tryin to get him to rip me a copy of what they got so far, but he won't. Games gonna be dope though

the game looks amazing, unrealistic but amazing. who wants a game where your biggest spin is a 540? like really...it wouldnt be fun. i think its kinda cool that you can do 1080 japan's on your first run ever in this game...

and the game isnt supposed to be realistic, if some of you people have played the other ssx, you'd realize that this is teh style of gaming the company does, which i think is sick. it takes real sport and adds to the crazyness of stuff you can do. i personally cannot wait till it comes out

the only real thing i would be able to think of is smoother rotation i guess, not as much of a sudden stop, more gradual. but that's it for me

If you dont like all the unrealistic tricks which no one really does you dont have to do the crazy unrealistic tricks you can choose to do real tricks that would look sick like spins, rodeos and 270s on to rails and stuff like that

Review and read up before repeating the same lame statements of "Super gay and unrealistic." Bla, blah, blah.You haven't the first clue about getting this made in the first place. This game will be cool. Everything is a stepping stone of sorts. They FINALLY put skiing in a video game. You think people would be excited, except they bitch about like a bunch of whiny brats. This is HUGE for skiing. If this goes well, others will follow!!!!!!!!!!! Think about it and quit with the upfront negativity. A bunch of companies are taking part and you'll be able to pick their gear and such. I for one am very excited about the possibilities before us.

He has worked on the new baseball game, which from what he has told me will suck cuz EA lost the rights to the player to another gaming company, he has worked on NHL 2005 and NHL 2006, hell I've already played the betta version of NHL 2006.

Now in regards to ssx4, if you did read my thread I said it was prolly too late.

Also not to mention the fact that I get the games for 15$ for any ea title.
