Larent Favre may have hurt his knee

Today at WSC in park city he might have hurt his knee if i heard right. He did a huge cork 7 setting up for a switch 5 in the pipe, and decked out pretty hard and laid in the landing for a few mins.

He got up and walked away, but didnt do his next three runs. As he was sitting at the bottom of the pipe he said something about his knee...

Seems like quite a trend of Pros latly hurting their knees, kinda odd...
 
Holy shit in person is soo sick

but yeah when i said three runs, i ment two, it was his first comp run
 
yeah that sucks, he is the king partially cause of his dopeness paritally because he said "g unit mother fuckers" on national tv.
 
Ohh man, he should have a 2 golds on his neck from the Xgames.

notice how many ACL's have been torn this year?

Maybe, just maybe it is because of center-mounting skis???? If any of you cats know the physics behind a ACL tear you would be wondering the same thing too...
 
I have heard that this puts you at a much higher risk of acl injury, but haven't the pros been centermounting for several years now?
 
^I would not say several years...just five years ago we were still all apeshit about salomon 1080s...center-mounting has only really been standard for the past two maybe three years...and it is only really this season that many weekend warriors have "had" to have center mounted skis
 
it sucks but as he said it's part of the game. He'll be back ready to kill it from that time on the coach

that sucks! that guys kicks ass, I was at pc a few weeks agao and he was throwing cork 5 screamin seamin's it was so rad. oh and he screamin seamin disastered the flat down box.
 
I can't believe as many guys stay healthy as they do. I mean, the force that these guys put on their bodies going as big as they do. And we know Laurent is the stinkin man - like rubber. If he can throw huge switch 7s an dland at the bottom of hits in the Open and be fine, he must have decked badly to hurt himself.
