I'm looking to get a new laptop for editing AVCHD video and not sure if I should get a macbook pro with lower specs, or a PC with higher specs?
 
Im thinking about getting the 15" macbook pro with i5 processor, but im not sure if the jump from 4gigs of ram to 8 is necessary?
