is one of these the best urban rail trick ever? if not, what is...

btw

You can't compare a guy focused on style to an urban cowboy, and in the best urban rail tricks ever I'd have at least 20 tricks on my list not only those 2

You're out of your mind OP, ever watched Eye Trip? Refresh? After Dark? Twalls 4 on pretz 2 out of that DFD?

I'm not 12 but I will say that a closeout that big to flat is really fucking impressive. Then again, Cam Riley has him beat.

Toms' down-c-down on the u of u campus is probably one of the most impressive overall urban rails ever

Yeah dude, it was the only shot I could remember from the Wallisch Project. But Wallisch could do a front 2 pretz 2 on a down rail and 12 year olds on NS would froth on it.

I'm not denying the fact that the close out to rail was impressive. I think it's one of the best shots of the edit but my point was the twelve you old gaper fan boys think it's the best thing they've ever seen.

HAVE YOU GUYS NOT SEEN SUPERVENTION?

Jasper Tjaders urban underflip and 630 disaster on, Even Sigstad and Kim Bobergs the 360 degree rails down from the bridge, witch took 3 riders and about 100 tries each.

And Jespers multi- kink? who he was the only one to nail, after 3 days of filming it with 6 riders?

Well, it wasn't shot in America therefore it doesn't count.

Vids?

Leigh powis inverted wall ride? Leigh powis wallride to double under flip in urban? Come to think of it pretty much any shot from leigh powis in we?

Clayton vila blunt back 2 out on the biggest rainbow rail maybe ever hit?

chowens front 6 to tranny?

There are too many variables that go into making a "good" urban shot that I don't think its possible to say what the "best" urban shot ever filmed is. What is better, technicality or burliness? Consequence, or creativity? How do we know the angle of such and such a shot shows the true gnarliness of the spot? (Whats the in-run like? is the rail sticky? etc.)

should've just call the thread "laportes caribou double gap vs bdog double butter on" so that the thread could actually be about comparing the two tricks. Seriously there is too many urban segments out there to say that a trick is the sickest urban rail trick ever.

Eye trip has so many bangers. my personal favorite is in the trailer; Ahmet's s-rail transfer at 1:47

just curious, was the feature at 1:35 the same exact feature in the shot of B Dog??

i think the craziest part is that he did that left (weak) foot forward...

Let me reset with some criteria for my claim..

urban RAIL trick....wallrides are not rail tricks. while i agree, leighs underflip wallrides were insanely dope, they arent rail tricks

rail TRICKS

this is where there needs to be discussion. at what point does sliding a rail become a trick? i agree that wallys down c down is insane and the spiral rail is incredible, but what is the trick done? do we call straight sliding a down rail a trick? when does the completion of a rail itself become a trick?

also...i count claytons blunt blind 2 on the big rainbow up there with these two i mention in OP

This is one of my favourites, possibly because it's right when the beat drops too. Also, was that done with his two broken wrists? Cause the couple scenes before that were all about him in the hospital

straight sliding a down rail is a trick, and everything you do in a rail that isn`t using it to walk over stairs is a trick

haha. ok.. that said, in comparing with the shots from Supervention, I'm barley slightly impressed with the shots OP presented.

The 360 rail EP3 - Field Prod

and that's just one of the shots.. Watch the fucking video, get blown away!

Yea I'm pretty sure it was. at least it looks like it to me.

But so many dudes have done some crazy stuff. Cam riley and clayton villa have been throwing some crazy shit the past 3 years. Same with LJ when he's been healthy. Crazy Karl does crazy things.

If I choose a top 10 of my favorite and best urban shots, my top 10 will be different than yours and so will the next guys. Its so hard to choose and its all opinion based.
