Lanyard broken :-(

ahh that blows! I'd just some how take of the metal part, and pop a carabiner on there, it'll be back to new from there, minus the bottle opener.

Hope mine doesn't do that :/
 
Damn, that sucks! Mine is doing fine, the store will probably make more because everyone likes them and they sell out mad crazy.
 
I was afraid of that happening to mine. You could take a paper clip and rewire it through the whole and wrap a little duct tape around it. You'd lose the functionality of the carabiner but it would still hold keys
 
that sucks, just cut off the carabiner thing and loop on a regular keyring, It wont look as good as before but atleast it will hold your keys well.
 
that happend to my buddy. he went into metal design class and drilled a whole. seemd to look solid. I hope they do something edgy and different with the next one.
 
My friends broke the same way i think.

Both of mine are still holding strong though. But i just tape the metal spring thing shut so it doesn't somehow come open and drop my key, pass etc.

Since i can't constantly open and close the little metal thing, I haven't had this problem.
 
i put the keyring through the fabric loop, not through the caribiner, so i dont have this problem.

on a second note, i have taken the metal thing out to look at it and it looks and feels super flimsy.

maybe they could improve on it in the future

obvious dibs are obvious for thread creator ... I am pretty sure i have a bunch of the original NS lanyards laying around my other house somewhere (yes the lime and pink neon ones). The order pm's come in are the order they go out. (I need a couple for secret santa(plus other gifts), and as i said dibs for OP) but im pretty sure i have 5-10 in my closet somewhere. I won't be home for another week or so, syke on the delay, but what the hell. i will forget about this thread if i don't post this now.

Oh and don't bother pm'ing me if you aren't a legit member who actually deserves one

the clip on my lanyard fell off like in the picture but i put some effort into putting the clip back on and its stayed for about 3 weeks now. looks like it should last but it feels kinda crooked.
