Lange Boots

Hey,

I am looking to get a new pair of lange boots. I weigh 170-180 lbs, i was wondering which pair you guys suggest i check out between the CRL 90 FR, the comp 100 fr, and the comp 120 fr. Im looking for something slightly on the softer side, but still stiff enough for response at high speeds. I was considering the rossi scratch soft boot, but ive heard that they are too soft for ripping it up at high speeds out of the park. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I just picked up a pair of Lange Comp 100. They were $175 for last years model and I thought that they were a good deal. They are tight when you first put your feet in there. They feel really stiff. The store I bought it from heated up the moldable liner so that I can get a perfect fit and after doing so, they got comfy without losing its stiffness. After riding in them for a day, they feel a lot better than new.

Overall, lateral movement is really stiff, along with front to back movement. But, front to back movement can be loosened up a bit by putting the buckles on the farthest one out. Overall, I'm happy with the boot. Would have gotten the FR version but the store didnt have them. The FR version from what I heard is just a bit softer front to back movement, but lateral movement is the same. For $175, I couldn't pass these up.

Thanks for the responses. Yes i have a narrow to med width foot. I was thinking the 120 fr's might be a bit stiff for me. I guess ill go try on a few pairs today, and see what i like. But im leaning towards the CRL 90 fr's or the comp 100 fr's. Thanks again everyone. Any other suggestions would be great. Thanks

go with the 120's for sure! for your weight they'd be perfect for ripping all over the mountain. but on the other hand, if you want a soft boot for the park and don't care too much about all mountain go with the 100s
