Damn, quite the story I heard from my buddy at school today. He and 2 others live in Allston, MA and recently their house was robbed. He got a Canon GL1, 2 Ipods, Multiple digital cameras, a bubbler and a few other things jacked out of their house. After a few days of despare and not knowing what to do apparently my friend got the brilliant idea of checking Craig's List to search to see if his GL1 or any of the other electronic stuff showed up. Low and behold after an hour or so of searching he actually FOUND his GL1. He could identify it because his mic was chipped and their was various distinctive features that made it obvious that it was his. So he called the number on the listing and it turns out to be their fucking landlord (who had been showing the place recently because they are moving out in the summer). So he arranged to meet the person somewhere in Boston today as part of a sting operation with the BPD. I haven't heard from him yet today so I will let you know the outcome in a few days when I have class with him. I was completely befuddled when I heard about his. So moral of the story: check craigs list in your area if you get shit stolen.
