Landlord inspection

just don't leave anything out in the open. make sure they have easy access to the furnace in case they're changing filters. (they always did this at my inspections) try and not look like a total slob and you'll be fine. i never disposed of guns, drugs, etc. for a silly little inspection....just put them in your underwear drawer....and empty/wrap up the bongs.

they're probably just checking smoke detectors, furnace filters, and making sure you haven't completely fuckered the place to all hell....aka holes in the walls, etc.
 
hide anything that shouldnt be there. anything pet-related if you cant have pets, obv any other paraphernalia you might have sitting around. don't give them any reasons to write you up (and/or charge you additional money)
 
Who said anything about narcotics? Who leaves there coke out when they know there landlord is coming over or at any time for that fact? If someone (who is not a convicted felon, which i assume op is not) got in trouble for having a gun in their apartment than that is fucked and typifies America these days.
 
Its a pretty rough area.... if they see guns they might assume that I am protecting drugs.... or even feel liable if I accidentally discharged idfk
 
uh, the OP did. "do i need to fill my car with accessories" - i assume that meant drugs and or drug paraphernalia. unfortunately, being in possession of a firearm and drugs CAN lead to additional felony charges even if the gun is legal.
