Yaeh ;)

So I don't posses twintips, but I'm wondering can I land to fakie with them?

If someone has any experience with this, speak.

im experienced with that man,for 3 years i was doing switch shit without twins and not once did my tails did in,but in frease snow,it wont go to good, but go for it,theres nothing to worry about,i guarantee you

it all depends on the snow man. And what type of skis u have. For Example some skis are slightly turned up at the tail, enogh fo a little switch riding (i.e. verses) and my race skis, well they are as flat as can be at the tail, landing swith is suicide.

Yeah i learned how to do 5's without twins, just lean forward a little

My twin's broke and im wating for the warenty ones to come in so i had to go with out and ski on my 70's fishers, the tails arn't turned up at all and they rn't rounded off, so put it this way dont try coming back down a quarter pipe fakie without twins. It hurts.

As a famous person once said 'I like to ski'

Good thing to know. The tails are turned up a little. Guess I'll ride those for this season, and if I get really excited about jumping I'll buy twins.

it can be done, but there are some instances where you DONT want to do it, i.e. taking off switch on a jump or landing switch in the pipe, i watched a kid at my hill try to take off switch on a jump with x-screams and his tails dug right into the lip, catapulting him backwards and destrotying the lip of the jump...so just be careful with it. and if you're gonna be leaning forward alot, maybe tighten your heel on your binding? that might help, so you dont release from all the added pressure.

you can land anything with any kind of ski if you got talent twin tips only help you ski backwards thats there only purpose

John- God forgives,

MOUNTANS DON'T

Do you mean your fischers that you are riding are from the 70's?

That would be sick.

I used to land switch fine without twins, my race skis are really flat. you have to lean way forward.

unless you are a pro, don't try hitting a jump switch with flat tailed skis. I tried. it hurts.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

im not a pro and i can land switch and not fall every time, its really easy, like everybody else said, just lean forward

yeah hard jumps you shouldnt have too much of a problem, but if its soft or snowy, youre screwed

hey man, i honestly challenge you to do this. there is an article on making your own twin tip, i dare you to make your skiis into twintips, only backwards. have the switch tail pointing down, so when you land, you go flying and break every bone in your sorry little body HE HE. but, if you choose to accept my challenge, please get it on tape. i mean, its not worth killing yourself unless others can enjoy the experience.

i usually never have my twins w/ me and it works unless its slushy then your tails will dig in (at least for me)
