Landing Switch in Pow

commit.

try to keep your shoulders almost over your toe piece. look at the jump/landing while u land, then open up after your riding away and look behind you and flip around.

don't try and stomp it hard, its easier to ride away if you set your skis down on the snow nice and easy.

then enjoy eating shit and practice.

yeah just be leaning into the hill so your tips stay up and have a wide stance and thats about it, just stomp it like a G

You just gotta do it. After a few (dozen)landings you'll start to get a feel to it, and you'll slowly improve.

Get some fat skis, center mount them, when you land, lean forward. That's most of it. Other than that, it just takes practice and commitment.

get rockered, i suggest hellbents, as they make switch skiing in any kind of snow feel like switch skiing on groomers...

Or not spend mad $$$. instead learn it with your current skis. Thats why hes asking for tips, sorry i have none.

I hope this doesn't become a standard

"You NEED rockered skis to land switch in powder."

that couldnt be more false, you can do it with an sort of a twin tip.
