Landing flat or hitting the knuckle, what hurts worse??????

You don't have to be a physicist to figure out that you have longer to fall to a flat (overshoot) than you do to the knuckle. Thus, a flat landing hurts more than the knuckle on the same jump.

The end.

Have a nice day.

usually when you over shoot you don't land COMPLETELY flat and can like slide out and survive it, knuckling bad you pretty much land flat and bounce and it hurts. Im not talking about the extreme overshoot case like simon

yah def overshoot i overshot a jump and got a contusion and a hemorrhage in my brain and im out for the season. knuckling dosent hurt if you absorb it right

id say the knuckle cause ur not always prepared to hit the knuckle like when ur mid spin and hit it is quite a shock... ive never been fucked up from overshooting but i remember plenty of nasty bruised heels and getting worked by the knuckle

my legs are super strong cause i lift weights alot so i can handle overshooting the landings by 30 feet.

landing "flat" would obviously be worse, but overshooting fairly badly, and landing on your skis, will be less painful than knuckling badly and landing on your skis

more like

Derek Spong= almost dead from undershooting

Simon Dumont= should be dead for overshooting

Tanner Hall= broken ankles from landing on the knuckle

i would rather overshoot, not that either is fun at all, but hitting the knuckle kills my knees, and also i end up kneeing myself in the face, when i overshoot it is alot easier for me to absorb the fall with my entire body and collapse into the ground vs. bouncing off a knuckle then flying thru the air...over the landing

i think people are confusing taking a jump really big with overshooting. cuz overshooting to flat is like knuckling, except from higher up and going faster... how could that possible be better? if you ride at a mountain who builds really good long landings to their jumps then it probably isn't really an issue in which case you'd probably think casing was worse I guess.

As the asian guy at joi proved you can make overshoots pretty steezy.

But it depends if you go really fast then over shoot you ride it out.

But if you undershoot slowly it would hurt cause you would just stop.

haha jea when u go far you see the landing just go past below you and its that feeling like oh shit how far am i actually gonna go but on a knuckle u pretty much now its coming and can i guess prepare urself for it in a sense

at least when you overshoot, you get to enjoy the extra time you have in the air. when you hit knuckle you feel like a little bitch for not making it to the landing.

yah but knuckling is way easier thaan overshooting. i think that adds to it, ppl knuckle more than theuy overshoot i think
