I havent really gotten much snow yet here in good old nova scotia. Ive been focusing on just making tricks i learned at the end of last season smoother and grabbing better. Once we get a jump that isnt scary as fuck here Im gonna try some flat 5's too! progessions dope!

for some reason this really resonated with me, as it's totally true.

Im going to take this as advice and start trying it out, i mean i do have to fall some time. Thanks for the solid comment man!

Honestly its really simple, my first one i landed on accident going for a 360. All you need is to do it off of a big enough jump. I always tried it off smaller jumps and got hung up in the air at 360.

Today i tried it on a decent booter with about 15 foot gap and just kinda started my turn at the top of jump.

The main ingredients are speed and commitment tho. No wind up is really neccisary.

And yeahhh word, if u arnt falling at all then your prolly not pushing yourself. Last season i was to scared to try anything. Now i hit every single rail my home mountain will throw at me. Still scared about the backflip but im going for it regardless next time i get out there.

advice for backflips: just do it. really, they're so easy. pop and lean back off the lip, it will come around.

landed a cork 7 on my second try yesterday! so stoked. then i got real bad shinbang from overrotating and landing backseat, lol. still SUPAFUCKINSTOKED

more throw back off the lip than lean. but yeah i find backflip easier that 5s. backflips are more scary, but more easy

im gonna throw my first 5 sometime this week and im also trying to learn how to do switch ups and 270 outs im having trouble gripping the rail enough to set the rotation i can land switch off rails easily but cant set the 270 out.

i was so stoked when i landed my first 5 aswell. Cant seem to make the grabs tho, fuckin hard to drag grabs into spins.. ;'((

a little advice bro. land onto the rail with your ski already dipped...it makes spinning soooooo much easier! just found that out last weekend i always tried dipping my ski halfway thru the rail and could never stick the 2.

thanks man. so like dip it on one side of the rail or push down on the inside edge of ur ski cus i have hear both. and what should my weight distribution (front and back foot) be like? thank you
