We are more free in this country than any other. All of the things you talk about 'drugs, speeding, shooting people' lead to deaths and ultimately not being free at all because you are spending your life trying to survive. So, I'll take my very few restrictions any day of the week to not have to worry about someone shooting me because they lost a football game (in most places anyway).

Try to grasp the reality and consequences of what you want before you denounce the very thing that has allowed you to be on this website in the first place.

ok so canada is more free ill go their. im just saying i think that gov has no right to tell me what i can do with my own body. for example with the drugs, im not saying all drugs cuz yeah some can kill and lead to dependency. but alcohol is legal and it does tons more damage than pot does. im saying legalize pot and maybe shrooms. hell shrooms grow off cow dung how can that be illegal. i jsut dont see how alcohol can be legal when DUI are at their highest, more people die from alcohol than anything. their is not one recorded death due to taking marijuana. yet its illegal. that really makes no sence. pot is not as harmless to your body as alcohol is. u can not over dose on mirijuana unless u smoke like 59000 joints at once, but that can never happen cuz by the time u smoke that much the first stuff u smoked is outta ur system. dont worry guys pot will be legalized soon enough, hell over half the population smokes on a regular baises and 4/5 th's have atleast tried it.

Wow, only a stoner would have made that comment. I am sure that less than half of the population smokes weed on a regular basis. In fact, it is probably closer to 10% doing it once a month at the most. Also, I bet only 40% have ever tired it.....and I probably think I am skewed to the high end because I am in college.

Weed isn't as bad as the government makes it out to be, I agree with you. But, from seeing friends tripping on shrooms....they should never be legalized.

 
no, most people have tried it. and u would be suprised how many people do it. maybe not on a regular basis, but 2-3 times a year. i know my parents do, and almost all my friends parents. 10% is a little low. and 40% have tried it? id guess more around 80% have tried it at some point in their lives.

best stat is 1/3 drivers that have accidents are under the influence of pot. well doesnt that mean 2/3 of the drivers are sober crashing. so why not get every one on pot while driving, it makes u slow down alot.

that statistic is really fucked up. the percentage of high drivers is relatively low, but the statistic is pretty high, thats what they are trying to get across. but the problem with it is that the testing goes back 90 days. so if they smoked 3 months ago, they fall into that statistic. now, what age group tends to smoke the most? teenagers. what age group tends to crash a lot? teenagers. that is why the statistic is invalid.
