just reading cnn.com about his win in time trails, and i started thinking

the guy had a wife and kids, he gets cancer, and his wife stands by him the ENTIRE time when he was dying then battled back from cancer

he gets better, bam drops his wife for a younger model

now i know half the athletes in sports that get big throw their wives to the side for more attractive people, but when u leave your wife after she stood by u during cancer, thats just horrible..for whatever reason he did it, i just dont look at him in the same way anymore

Actually, His wife bailed on him. She hated staying in France. She wanted the divorce, because of Lance's lifestyle.

thats harsh if lance armstrong dropped her, but if its the other way around i really doubt that i'd be hard at all for him to find a million other girls to get with, specailly now that he's on his way to another tour de france victory

all the articles were about how lance was moving back to the US to 'reconsile' with his wife...everything i read leaned towards lance leaving her, and i guess he does have a young new hot blond woman (cant blame him there) but i dunno..still seems as if he just kinda went for the young girl

whoever made this post is a fucking retard. you don't know what went on in his marriage, so how can you jump to conclusions and say he ditched his wife for a model. He is with Sheryl Crow now, who is certainly not a model. Pick up a copy of 'It's Not About the Bike; My Journey Back to Life' written by Lance himself. You will find yourself left with a lot more respect than you currently have. Your a fucking retard, all I have to say.

H30films, you really should check out It's Not About The Bike if you want the real story. If you read about his dedication and his childhood, and the way he used to be, you might change your opinion. Either way, its his issue, not ours. I'm sure there were things between the both of them that the media hasn't uncovered yet, that still led to the divorce.

Wow, it's incredible how many people will jump on a bandwagon without acaully doing and research for themselves. In a personal interview on OLN the other week they went through a huge thing with Lance about that. Lance didn't just drop his family for a new piece of ass, he claims his wife was very threating reguarding finances, and threatened taking his kids away from him if he couldn't continue to bring in the dough. I'm not saying that what I say is any more credible then any other members, however that came right from the man himself, and is not a generalized thinking that has been exploited by the media. I'm not saying Lance was right, maybe he did drop his wife like a asshole, but why pretend that we even have a clue as to what acaully happened.

its just that someone as highly regarded as him, everything he does is gonna be under extra scrutiny..after batteling back from cancer, he ends up divorced and with a new woman..just doesnt seem kosher, but im sure his wife was a factor in it as well

Freezy had it right, he had girlfriend before cancer but said going through that ordeal with her left thier realionship changed forever so they ended on good terms and then he met his wife at a cancer function, 'It's not about the bike' talks all about it and is one of the best biographies I have read

Word. I fucking hate it when people form opinions by what they hear in magazines or on TV, like any of us acaully knows what happened or under what circumstances. The fact of the matter is, he is a incredible athlete who has not only overcame a serious cancer situation but came back like stronger and faster then ever.

i dont think that anyone should have a problem with him, even if there's a whole story that we dont know about him being a douche, its his buisness, and you should respect him for his accompishments not for his downfalls. Everyone has their problems, if you dont then you can call me on it but i really doubt.

Apperently Lance has been nosing in steroids, but itll be good to see him win tho. He deserves it for getting his balls chopped off. Na mean? Thats actually probly why his wife left him, and the supermodel came, cause she knew she wouldnt get pregnant and he wouldnt have to use a condom, but still, he had a screwed up relationship, and I think he was tooo into biking, and neglected his family.

i think lance is the greatest athlete on earth

for 19 days or so he rides for 6 consecutive hours, up and down hill, whatever the weather is, and hes in france, so u gotta give him more than a guy who drops his wife and picks upo sheryl crow
