Lamest front page ever

wow this thread is funny. I must be one of two people who expects a little more from the front page than this.... Not hating on the "fun" of doing a switch back or anything and don't get me wrong it is definately a legit shot, but why would you set the bar so high when most of the other pics that are used for the front page could be published in a magazine? seems kinda strange.

maybe I have a biased opinion because I know of a picture from last winter that was turned down for front page useage and is wayy sicker than this most recent one.
 
if you think about the techinical aspects of this picture and previous front page pictures, this one doesn't belong. not that i care, but i see where malczyk is coming from.

frankly, my knees hate it. but if i saw it i'd scream with happiness.

oh shit, I thought switch was something different and that EC was putting gloves out too, the switch's look great man

gimmie one in white and lime green instead of blue though, fuck I'll even pay for it haha
 
half you people complaining prbly couldn't do a switch flip of anykind, or any size 9no offense to those who can) so stop bitching, skiing isn't all about "progression" sure it's inportant but you have to remember to step back and have fun sometimes
 
I agree, backflips are fun. However, Cosco looks like he's reppin the homo clown flying circus posse. I mean XXL G-style is what's up, but that XXXXXXXL jacket is just ridiculous, Cosco is a legit skier, but if he wants people to chuckle when they see him, mission accomplished.

omg are you kidding?? he obviously didn't even intend on clearing the jump in this shot and was just messing around. you really think he didn't clear the jump just because they put a funny picture up instead? chill buddy.
 
yeah but who really cares what he's wearing, i aint no fashion critic, i dont give a fuck, it really doesnt matter and you cant seem to grasp that. everybody looks goofy.
 
whoa, didnt think i was gonna get this much debate, i guess thats what the forumis all about, I win, love pushing buttons. no, its cool, skiiing fun, i'm not uptight. ian cosco's a gnarsty skier, i just like seeing crazy stuff for the front page. you know like colby west with that sw 7 double nose back in the day, you all know you shit your pants when you saw that even though its old hat now. cheers all in good fun, i dont mean ill will
 
if anyone hasnt noticed he kinda marches to the beat of his own drummer. its what skiing is about. do u want to see the same shit all the time. no. so applaud progression and let it happen for the better of our sport.
