Alright i just saw LAME and it is amazing it is probably the best video ive seen but i havent seen to many but still i thought it was good i still havnt seen 1242 and i hear that is sick but still i dont think it could be better then LAME. Soo i was thinkin what makes Robot Foods videos soo amazingly good, is it the edditing the tricks the cinomotagraphy or what is it?

 
yeah robot food is the shit. most companies have to go through the am ranks but robot food came on the scene with afterbang and just killed it. i thinks its the editing and cinematography. you cant really expect to see new tricks so it gets increasingly hard to make an interesting movie.

i agree that Lame is by far the sickest film i've ever seen. The filming makes me weep, it is absolute talent. Not to mention the smooth talent of all the riders in it...i love it

 
i was thinkin about it and it was soo cool jus seeing them as like buddies just hanging out on the hill oh and the music was amazing i didnt like it at first but it grew on me

they should have it at every snow shop.

everything is top notch. editing, riding, music, vibe, everything. thats why robotfoods movies are the best.

i got it snow and skate in redmound for my friend for his birthday but i got to watch it a few times too and its soo good i might go out and get me a copy

 
what makes robot food so sick is their dedication to the sport not just to advance and sculpt it, but to keep the essense of fun in everything they do. I havent seen LAME yet, but afterbang was the hizzle because you could see how much the riders enjoyed making the film. And yeah, the riders are sick-nasty

Man i bought it and it blew my mind and i think i know why its soo good, its cuz they make snobarding look fun like the shit they do in it make me almost want to start snowboarding (but then i remember how dope skiing is). like every one in that video looks like there having the best time ever and they all have funny ass things in there segs. like the supe wide stance board, dreessing up in a fat suit or the pull in with a saftey harness that was hilarious. i would love to see a ski movie that was made like this i think it would bring way more respect to our sport cuz where i live theres still lots of hate.

why and how do you compare 1242 to LAME?

lame was good but it is nothing like 1242 one is all skiing and one is mostly snowboarding they are nothing alike and 1242 is much better

 
yeah i think the thing about robot food is how much fun the riders have making the moive, and then there are clips of them just screwing around(in after bang where the 10 or 11 guys do backflips at the same time, when the guy does a balerina style 7 out of the pipe and how they do trains of a few peps andthen the last one always falls) and joking with each other, also the music is really cool

u cant really compare 1242 with Lame but i was talking about how they edited it and the shots and there was just this feeling that u got about it and i was just thinkin what causes that feeling and how/where does robot food get these amazing ideas and ideas for shots and how does it all come together to make some of the best vids of all time

 
youre right. there's something about lame that makes it just so much better than anything else... i think its the way they make the movie fun but still with gnarly tricks.

 
wildcats videos are always fun to watch... and video gangs is one of the best vids i have ever seen.... skiing vids have been too thug for my taste lately & not fun enough
