No one said we where getting on...but on the other had NO ONE SAID WE WEREN't...

i was talking about last year.. cause hoss said phhs was making one for you guys. hoss was pretty much running the park so whatever came out of his mouth i figured was true. he was the only one who pretty much talked about the park other than jess. so there!
 
So there....eh...I love the attitude....makes me want to invest more in the park.....

There was NEVER any promises last last..PHHS never started the project, the terms were not as described...so we didn't have them make one...

As for Jess and Hoss being the only ones talking about the park...really...I spent alot of time reading what you guys have to say and posting here...wake up man, resorts can't respond solely to the wants needs and demands of the park riders...sure we'd love to...we'd also love to do everything every other group of people want as well....

If you want progress...be realistic...its seems all these threads do anymore is cater to hill bashing and which hill sucks the most...or what shops suck the most..

I personally worked my ass off for you all when it comes to that park...beleive it or not, all the major changes where in place BEFORE any one new was brought to work it...I planned and build...and had built EVERY FEATURE in the park....it was a HUGE amount of money that we invested.....money I had suggested be put into the park for YEARS...to build PROPER features instead of the excuses we had before....

Before you reply...if you choose to...take time to think about what REALLY goes into these parks, and our features...at ALL the resorts....get realistic....Take a look at the membership here...how many other GENERAL MANAGERS of our resorts do you see reading and posting here...listening to what you guys have to say...and not getting up in arms when you complain about our parks....I think its safe to say...and I could be wrong...that I am the only one...

While i agree, and im guilty of it too *cough*mountkirbyskipshop*cough*, i do think more comes out of those arguments then just bashing. I know there are people from those places on here, i know they read what we have to say. And if they take the bashing to the simplest level, its just a really immature way of venting at what we dont have/making suggestions. We see what other people have and we want it. Unfortunately, we dont really have the phsyical geography for this sport so of course we cant have (of keep up to pace) what everyone else has.

I know improvement have come because of these arguments. Hell, even Dynastar took what people were bitching about with the TroubleMakers (edge problems) and fixed them (about time :P). They even credited NS to that. Thats pretty cool if you ask me.

mark, I think sometimes we just bitch because we love:P

PS. how many other hills do you know of that truck in snow before the season so a bunch of slimey park rats can get their jib on?

Not too many. Props to kirby for that.

Ya man I get the simplest form idea....but unfortunitely some others just see it as negative BS...and then stop supporting the movement...

I used to get all kinds of letters and notes left at the office complaining about the park and other things...I always just threw out the ones that were nasty and just bitching....I couldn't waste my time responding to these when the writer couldn't take the time to be constructive...thats just the way I think...

This NS movement has to be lead carefully so it doesn't blow up in all of our faces...and then nobody has the ability to build and create and otherwise assist the growth of this area of the sport....beleive me...the insurance companies would love to see parks disappear...

Stand up for what you want, be vocal, be progressive...just don't go overboard, the last thing we need is to progress past what the industry can support at the time...and sink the whole ship...

My goal at OSC is not necessarily to be the BEST....its to be the most versatile, rider progressing, all around skill developing park in the area....We don't need to sell ourselves as the area with the biggest park, but I want to see us be able to sell ourselves as an area that has a GREAT park...and the BEST all around resort in the area...Remember we have about 20 more runs then the park, 3 quad chairs, and 7 t-bar lifts...all this...and we still are generally at par with our neighbouring resorts as far as pricing goes...

I like that fact that everyone speaks their mind here...gives me the opportunity to make adjustments and gives me ideas of the direction we should go...its just the crap about promised features that "WE" never got that burn my ass....I never take anything personal...but I will have a response.

when crazy carl told me that all i could say was....noooooooooo wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...and immediatley thought...i want him to mount my skis. lol.
 
I'll b3 bringing my new sticks in when i get em (90mm waisted). This guy better not end up mounting em like that last guy did *shudder*
 
well my msps were 87 and they couldnt mount those properly...

where you getting the SV mounted at?
