How late in the year is Tahoe generally open? I have april 9 through april 19 off, will it still be worth the trip from NY? What is there to do after closing? (like day closing not season)

well it really depends on what kind of season we are having right now, but as of now its not to great, i mean we are in the middle of a serious hot flash and its melting like crazy, but i dont really know the closing dates for the mountains. But it also depends on what you are looking to ski. Park, Pipe or just groomers. Plus the weather out here is always super sketch never really know what is gonna happen, but defiantly call around to different resorts see what their closing dates are and what not. ill give you some mountains that are always fun to hit up. There is Sierra at Tahoe, Northstar at Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, Squaw, Heavenly, Boreal, ect.

Thanks bro... I'm into it all and kinda just hyped at possibly going out there even if skiing is shitty. My friends brother lives in the tahoe region and if we go (depending on closing dates) we'll stay there.

ya places like kirkwood will for sure be open then cuz its high elevationbut i would def recommend comin out here cuz its always good vibes out here in the late season

Squaw is usually going sometime into may, the parks are soo fun there toward the end of the season

you'll be fine. The parks will be pop'n off at Squaw and Alpine and maybe a few other. You'll have fun for sure!!

Some years squaw will still even have a sick park on memorial day weekend! So i think you should be good coming out in april, even though its not been a great year in tahoe and a lot of rain.

Thanks for the info hopefully everything works out on the tahoe end (place to stay etc) because I'm already stoked about it

Squaw usually sticks it out till Memorial Day Weekend. There's been a lot of snow recently there and they move snow just for the parks. As Jex says - you're golden!
