I may move out there next year. I read somewhere that there were 15 ski resorts around the lake. Can someone list some of the better ones, and tell me if it's a cool place to live?

i love love love tahoe. north shore is legit, its home to some of the coolest people you'll meet, Squaw, Northstar and those. south shore is stateline (nevada/california) and its more crowded. it has more to do, nightlife-wise and it has Heavenly right there, Kirkwood out a little bit. reguardless where you are, its a given that youll meet interesting people and ski a shit-ton.
