^As far as real schools you have UNR in Reno which is about 40 minutes away from the good areas and then UC Davis which is in the valley, about two hours away from the good stuff. In Tahoe there are a few community colleges and smaller schools that I don't know specifically.

Hey Ive lived here in reno all my life and am now going to UNR which I think is a good school and you dont want to go to Davis Its $$$$$$$ nevada schools are a lot less and there is also 2 CC up at tahoe one in South shore and one at Incline. But as for a university come to UNR. if you got any more ? hit me up

 
i think there's a Sierra community college in Truckee. about 15 minutes from squaw, alpine, and sugar bowl. if you're just starting off college then there's nothing wrong with going to a community college for the first couple of years to get your GE's in for cheap.

 
there is a school somewhere near tahoe that is a small digital art college...its called like college of the sierra or something.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

Lake tahoe community college in the south. sierra nevada college in incline (north/east tahoe) which is really expensive. UNR in reno (where i go to school). and there are a few other community colleges around carson and reno.
