Alright, this summer I whent to lake placid through Freestyle America. $ 660 for a week. Fucking amazing deal. However, they only offer one week long camps. Is there a way I can stay at placid for 2 weeks without being part of a camp? How would that work as far as coaching + price + hotel + ramp time goes, if its even possible?

shit man for 660 i'd rater just save up twice that and go to an actual summer ski camp that'll probably have water ramps to go along wit the skiing

hahahhahahhahahha what the hell is a gorilla fish?

it had a giant alligator or a crocodile or something once, but not a gorilla fish

You can contact the the pool and buy a ramping pass and a coaches ticket to train with the local coach (not the best, but is okay I guess). I dont know the number off the top of my head, but u can probably find it easily enough with teh interweb or something.

Which session did u go to with freestyle america? Was it the onw when all of the mount snow kids went?

i really dont know but i think the local coach would be richie and he knows his shit so it will be worth it

well dude, what i do is pay the day fee which is 55 dollars for the pool and a coach then i camp so i can afford it. after food though its still quite expensive. i would recomend staying at the otc, its much cheaper and freestyle america has good coaches. ive been to that camp

richie is gone, so fuck going there

Ramping is cool but it costs alot, go out west or some shit with the money

Ya, he is back in lake placid for a week or two (he is attending two weddings I think) and he has been hanging out at the ramps while he is here.

If you don't go with a camp it is 30 for the coaching fee and 15 for the pool fee for a full day, half day is of course cheeper, also if you aren't a member of USASA or USSA then that is like 50 for a membership, you get to ramp 2 times in the days and tramps 2 times, but it is deff more pricy to go not in a camp, that doesn't even include hotel and stuff, plus you have to talk to Eric to see if he is willing to take you into his group
