Lake Louise and Sunshine

So I'm going out to Lake Louise/Sunshine next month and am wondering about the best/most challenging/most fun runs on either hills. Thanks for the info

Delerium dive at sunshine but you need a beacon to get in and goats eye conditions permitting. Back bowls off the summit platter at lake Louise. Just look for the signs with 2 black diamonds.

I don't live out there anymore so i can't vouch for conditions.

How is mt norquay?

I can work at lake lousie or mt norquay next year, was thinking lake lousie but only becasue I've never heard anything about norquay

I have never been but I know the vertical isn’t as high. That’s why I’m not going to ski there. If it was me I’d work at Lake Louise

Norquay is a small hill that doesn't get much snow, but has a cheap season pass, has some decent off piste terrain and is fun on a powder day, or for 1 day. But if you have limited MC/Ikon days, go to Louise or Sunshine.

Louise, best snow is off the backside of the platter, in the Whitehorn or brownshirt/north cornice area (some nice drops). but it's a long lap. Lapping ER3/6/7 (down to kiddie corner for some drops) off Paradise is a pretty fun lap. Ptarmigan chutes or the double blacks under Larch chair are fun if the base is deep. I usually ski backside all day and finish off with Flight chutes down the front side. The areas around the top of the old Olympic chair, and old Eagle chair are also fun if lapping down to Top of the World.

Sunshine, dive is awesome, you need beacon/shovel/probe and a partner. Wildside is good. I'm digging Hell's Kitchen and Freefall this year. Standish (headwall, garbage chutes, virgins, donkey's tail) and Wawa (paris basin) have the natural hits. Shoulder, Rockledges (some big drops), Bushwackers on TP town have good snow.
