lake effect is one of the greatest things known to man besides nor easters and big rochie and sierra dumps!
 
Yeah, it's pretty wonderful.

Holiday Valley reported 14 inches as of 7am, and still snowing. Another half foot at least is forecasted thru today.
 
I got about 10 at my house and I live on a really windy hill. Most of the snow blew away. They're expecting 3-7 today and 3-5 tonight too.
 
10 over the weekend and i think we're getting like another 6 inches getting dropped currently

Took the day off, if you buy your lift pass before 10am, it's only $4 for a 8-hour pass in celebration of their 50th anniversary.
 
Incredibly. The odds of me getting booted for poaching runs for powder seems to be very high.
 
The real problems arise when you have only 700 feet of vert and nowhere to go but up once you hit the bottom. I'll have a second jacket in the car to change in case the occassion arises.
 
alll areas located around the great lakes, they stay warm enough and have cold enough air above. Ushually west, northwest, north east of the lakes
